The SNIT kick-off conference was held remotely between leaders of all parties involved as well as certain members of the research teams. The participants from respective consortia were Grzegorz Cema from the Silesian University of Science and Technology, Jakub Ciesiółka from Aquanet, Renata Tomczak-Wandzel from Aquateam COWI and Przemysław Chrobot from MPWiK SA in Wrocław. The meeting was also attended by Stanisław Miodoński, Mateusz Muszyński-Huhajło and Ewelina Moras from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Magdalena Budych-Górzna from Aquanet, Beata Sosnowska from Aquateam and Jacek Przyszlak from MPWiK Wrocław.
The meeting had informative character and discussion resolved mainly around work schedules for each task and expansion plans for respective research stations. Dependencies between different tasks and work packages were analyzed as well as related risks. Important aspect raised during the event was creation of effective communication between all consortium members, which would not only enable smooth execution of project objectives but also result in good quality joint scientific publications. The latter aspects was also discussed in terms of identifying the task within the project with greatest potential for highly regarded articles, however it remains the open case to be further discussed in many subsequent meetings.
The good atmosphere of the meeting and the overlapping visions of cooperation allow us to assume that the cooperation will be fruitful.
